A Well Respected Name

With a proud history of serving the families in Paignton, Stockman & Loram’s family team have a fantastic local reputation for offering the very best. The Loram family used to own Maunders in Well Street, but sold that company 20 years ago. The excellent team that worked with the Loram’s soon joined the family at T & I Stockman, now rebranded as Stockman & Loram.  It’s the same family and team that has served local families for decades.

Green Burials in Paignton

Paignton does not have its own dedicated green burial site, so you would need to look at alternative locations for this. Locally this would usually be either Conqueror Wood in Torquay, or Sharpham Meadow Natural Burial Site near Totnes.

It is possible to hold the actual funeral service in Paignton, be it in our Service Chapel or at a local Church, prior to burial at one of these green burial sites.

Simple Cremation Funerals

A funeral service in Paignton does not have to be a large or formal gathering.  We have our own private Service Chapel where a small family gathering can take place.  There is no time pressure here, so you are not restricted like you would be at Torquay Crematorium.

Stockman & Loram can still arrange for a Celebrant or Minister to lead a service or just to link everything together.  All the music is provided by us and the whole service is a blank canvas for you to create a personal tribute to your loved one.

The cost of this type of funeral is typically £500 less than a funeral at Torquay Crematorium too, so not only is it a nicer option, it also significantly less expensive.
